Tom Sheets says that he spotted this red 1964Thunderbird Convertible at a local "cruise-in" located in Hudsonville, Michigan on July 31, 2004. The owner (from Holland, Michigan) told me that he has owned this car for the past 20 years. His father rescued it from a junk yard for $50 back then. Since then, his father has passed away but his son has continued the restoration of this fine automobile. Aside from the cosmetic work, he has rebuilt the engine and it runs great. The condition of this Thunderbird would best be described as a daily-driver. THe owner of this car was kind enough to answer all my questions about his car - he even allowed me to watch the convertible top automatically emerge from the trunk area to cover the car.
