Ralph Voorhees says: My 1964 Thunderbird Convertible was built at Wixom Assembly with a tonneau cover and wire wheels. It was leased new in 1964 at Laurie Ford in Morris Plains, New Jersey. It has 24,211 miles and is an A.A.C.A. Grand National Champion and a 2-time best of show winner for the V.T.C.I. I have owned it since 1971. UPDATE April 2013, it was for sale on ebay and located in Bedford Hills, New York. (picture added) This car is documented with its gate release and build sheet, indicating the wire wheels and tonneau cover were factory-installed options.
