Daryl Cox says: I purchased this Thunderbird in July of 2004 from Patty Elscot of Osakloosa, Iowa, a friend. She and her husband had owned it for approximately 13 years. It had always been kept inside and never driven in the winter. It has the original vinyl top. It is in original condition, not restored. It is well-kept and still on the high side of good condition or even the low side of excellent condition. It has bias-ply tires. The original window sticker is present. Its 390 V-8 engine runs and drives great.
This Thunderbird has been entered in car shows and has been awarded many trophies. - - - - - - Arthur Ash III registered this Thunderbird on December 22, 2005: This 1964 Thunderbird Landau has a 390 V-8 engine, SelectAire Conditioning, power windows, manual seats, fender shields and a black vinyl roof. As of December, 2005 it was for sale on ebay and located in Oskaloosa, Iowa. - - - - - - UPDATE May 2012, Dennis Dole reports that it was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Orange County Auction in June 2011. Lot # 620 for $9,625. (picture added) UPDATE August 2014, and February 2015, it is for sale in Auburn, Washington.
