David Schnase says: My father bought this car in Lincoln Nebraska in 1966, and was sold new in Chicago at McCormick Place Ford. It is black with red interior and has most all options. My father sold the car in 1983 when he needed more room at the house and the car needed to be restored then. But I (his son) found the car and bought the car back in poor shape in 1989 when I was 20.The T-bird needed everything and had a lot of rust in the roof and fenders. It now is 70 percent done with everything new or rebuilt since. It is now awaiting paint and final assembly at this time. I also have the original gate release from Ford Motor Company when it left the plant.
I also own Registry Number 31660, a 1980 Town Landau.
