This car is being sought on Cedar Rapids, Iowa Craig's List. The owner states this: It was bought new at Murphy's Ford (no longer in business) in Anamosa, Iowa. It was located in C. R. and then later in Marion Iowa. The color is burgundy or maroon with a white landau top and a white leather interior. It had almost every avail. Option including AM/FM , cruise control, and A/C. It was traded in at Bob Zimmerman Ford in 1975-1976. It was seen in the area well into the 1980's. There was a guy that worked at the Holiday Inn(recently demolished) on Williams Blvd. in C.R. that had it at that time. I think he was a chef/cook there. His Father may have been a body or paint man in the Cedar Rapids area. The car had aluminum lacework type wheels at that time. I last saw the car in a carport on either Wilson Ave. or Oakland Rd.in C.R. (a little fuzzy) The carport was in an alley. It had the cylinder heads off and it was in pretty sad shape. I'm sure the car has most likely gone to that big boneyard in the sky by now but you never know….. These T-Birds have a way of hanging around.. This car was my Grandpa and Grandmas favorite car(mine too) If anyone remembers the car or where it might have gone OR might know the whereabouts of the the guy from the Holidome, I'd really appreciate a call
