Calvin Moss says: I traded a 1970 Mercury Cougar XR-7 351W automatic transmission for this 1964 Thunderbird Landau - even trade. We traded cars August 2012. I saw the car for sale on eBay and asked if he wanted to trade...he said if I deliver from Charleston, WV to Earlville, Illinois. The guy I got the car from of said he bought the car in northern Illinois in 2009. He said the guy he bought it from was selling it because it was his father's car an had been sitting in a barn for at least 20 years. When I got the car it had 75K miles on it and a cracked exhaust manifold, both quarters rusted and a power window switch bad. I am currently working on fixing all of this an going to make it a daily driver.
