Clive Rogers says: I was the first UK owner following import into the UK from California in 2000, since then restoration has progressed in increments. Full set of steering/front suspension bushes and ball joints installed winter 2003 improved drivability markedly, also new discs. Re-arched rear springs and new shock absorbers all round installed winter 2005 made things even better. Set of '65 deluxe hubcaps (not illustrated) finally obtained January 2006. Interior restoration finally completed with repro door trims winter 2003 to add to new leather, new carpets, chromed door and seat brightwork. Car has a non-original engine (blue not black), possibly out of a '66 Mercury according to the block casting, disappointed to find it is a 390 not a 410. ID tag says its a '65 T-Bird engine! However, proper '65 T-Bird engine awaits overhaul.
