This 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop has Highway Pilot Speed Control with Unique Steering Wheel, SelectAire Conditioner, Fender Shields, Tinted Glass, Power Driver's Seat, and Power Windows/Vent Windows. It was for sale in Crossville, Tennessee. UPDATE April 2014, Clint Good notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: This was originally a California car delivered to the dealer "T. Lyell Puckett" in Alhambra, CA on 10/07/65. The options listed are the 428 4V 7.0 Litre engine, Transistorized Ignition, Exhaust Emission System, Power Windows with Power Vent, Reclining Seat and headrest, Power Seats, Highway Pilot Control, Unique Steering Wheel, Deck Lid Release, Selectaire Conditioner, AM Radio/Stereosonic Tape System, Power Antenna Retracting, Tinted Glass, License Plate Frames, and Rear Fender Shields.
----- The emissions control system, transistorized ignition and power antenna were disabled or removed. The a/c was bypassed. It appears these were done in the attempt to improve fuel economy. The previous owners installed non-Thunderbird radiator and surrounds. It is the current owner's intent to restore the car as it is in relatively good condition with minimal rust and good engine and drive train.
