This 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop was for sale as of February, 2011 and located in Pleasanton, California. It has power windows and vent windows, power driver seat, and tinted glass. UPDATE August 2015, rattusrex notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says he belongs to the Thunderbird Club of Australia. It was sold by Keller Ford, Martinez, California and was a California car all its life. It won a couple of awards after being restored in 1994. It has been in Australia for the past two years. Options are according to the windscreen sticker: 428 c.i. engine, exhaust emission system, closed emission system, 815x15 4PR WSW tires, power windows with power vent, reclining seat and headrest(may have been replaced with a standard seat,power seat driver, radio AM and rear speaker, tinted glass. I plan on replacing worn suspension parts, polishing all chrome and S/S, bring it back to a good driver standard whilst being sympathetic to it's heritage. - - - - - - - - UPDATE September 2015, All consumable suspension parts have been replaced including front & rear springs. Usual electrical problems with the rear lights and windows. Boot lid seal has been incorrectly fitted and has leaked water into the boot for the past 20 years. Amazingly, only surface rust has eventuated which will be fixed. Once new exhaust system has been fitted it will be back on the road. Plan to keep upgrading it until it's as close to perfect as I can make it. What a difference in build quality compared to a Mustang. Just love that interior.
