The storage owners didn't know what to do as they'd never come across this situation. It was a simple case of being in the right place at the right time. They mentined their predicament to my brother and me. Being the generous guy he is, he let me have first crack at it. So I did the all the leg work imposing the warehouseman's lien, etc, etc. Now months later, she's mine. $369. CDN. That's like $200. US! :)
The body's in really good shape. Some cracking on one fender. Hard-top is perfect. So-so paint job. Interior really is mouldy and mildewy. I don't have a key yet so unsure about the engine, but it appears complete. Looks like someone has tried to hotwire it and some of the wires are fried. Other than that . . . The only things I can see actually missing are the interior door panels and all four hub caps. I'm hoping my luck continues and they're in the locked trunk. :)
