This is a 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop. It is Silver Mink (E) with a silver blue vinyl interior (21). It was scheduled for production on October 8, 1965 (08K). This Thunderbird was seen at the Mecum auction in Illinois in September, 1995. UPDATE January 2013, JD notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He adds: My 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop has 390 V-8, Cruise-O-Matic Transmission, SelectAire Conditioner, Power Windows (including vent windows), Power Driver's and Passenger's Seat, AM Radio, Fender Skirts, Tinted Glass, Trunk Release. The previous owner had the black vinyl top installed. It was restored in Ohio, then spent a short time in Tucson. It now resides in Southern California and is driven regularly. It was sold new at George Dunton Inc., 2240 South Main, Santa Ana, California. (gate release added June 2015 courtesy of Cody Burch)
