Ian Cassaro says: My 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop was purchased from an officer at Warren Air Base in Wyoming; it still had a parking pass sticker on the bumper! It was transported to Akron, Ohio. The previous owner repainted it black with pearl white seats. It then spent over 12 years in a garage covered up. I purchased it in 2004. I had it taken on a flat bed truck to Warren, Ohio. It required a complete restoration. The original engine size was 390 with a C6 automatic; 91000 miles on odometer. It had a rust-free body!!!!
Present condition- Stripped to bare metal, shaved door handles, custom body modifications and a tricoat Prizmatic red paint job. 428fe engine with tripower intake system, tremec tko 600 5 speed manual trans and 3:89 traction loc 9 inch rear end. Engine dyno specs 428.6 HP @ 5000 rpms and 480 ft-lbs torq @ 4200 rpms. New interior upholstery, headliner, carpet and door panels. Billet aluminum rearview mirror, brake pedal, clutch pedal and steering wheel. Custom 1200 watt stereo system. 4 speakers 2 subswoofers.
