Gordon Konsker says:My 1966 Thunderbird Town Hardtop is Emberglow (V) with an Emberglow interior (24). This car was originally owned by my father in law (Thomas Gartrell from New Philadelphia, Ohio). It has a scheduled production date of April 7, 1966 (07D), and was ordered by a Ford dealer residing in the Indianapolis, Indiana Distrct Sales Office (32). This car was used as a family car until 1978 when it was repainted and put away. Other than the repaint the car is original, but in pristine condition. I have rebuilt the front end and replaced all the original rubber parts down to the antisqueak bushings,as well as new brake system and michelins.I also installed the upgraded antisway bars front and rear. Other than the repaint nothing exposed has been replaced. The interior is showroom fresh and the chrome is original and still very fine. This car is a multiple first place winner at the Greater New York regional AACA events, but is driven any available weekend day in the nice weather.
