Robert Becker says: I bought this car on November 19, 1988, after selling a new pickup in order to pay bills. It was my first Thunderbird and I've had the bug ever since. I have been all the way through this car mechanicaly and cosmeticaly. It needs only new chrome and door panels to finish it. It is equipped with SelectAire Conditioner, power drivers seat, reclining passenger seat, Safety Convenience Control Panel, dual outside mirrors,fender shields, rear speaker, power antenna, and deluxe wheel covers. It turns heads every time I take it out!
Bob showed his car for the first time on August 27, 1994. It took best of class beating a 1966 Chevrolet Caprice, a 1966 and a 1969 Mustang, a 1967 Pontiac GTO, and 1967 and 1968 Chevrolet Camaros. No surprise! Bob did all of the cosmetic and most of the mechanical restoration himself.
