Steve Harron says: I bought the car in 1987 when I lived in Houston, Texas. The person I bought it from only knew the car was originally from Florida. He did not know the original owner. The plate on the dash said "R.V. Anderson", of West Palm Beach, Florida who purchased it January 3, 1966 from Terry Ford of Pompano Beach. I drove the car daily until 1992 when I could not solve an overheating problem and needed a reliable car. Now I have money and time and have begun restoration. Currently the car runs and drives with a new engine and completely refurbished drivetrain. Bodywork and interior are next. I have the fender shields - they are not installed in this picture. Even with a new aluminum racing radiator it still overheats. Someday I'll get that figured out!
