This 1966 Thunderbird Hardtop has a 390 V-8 engine, SelectAire Conditioner, power windows, 6-way power seat and fender shields. As of July, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Claremont, California. UPDATE November 2014, Jaylan Bates notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I'm and the current owner and have had it for almost two years. Restoration is near complete and many after market changes have been made. The previous owner had to move due to their issues. The cars first owner lived in Lompoc and she recieved it as an anniversary gift from her husband. The car was repainted by her son in highschool but it wasn't the best job. The car sat in a storage unit just off the airforce base in lompoc, that explains all of the rust. As I was told she drove the car up to 1992 when it was ran off the side of the freeway into a ditch and that explains all the bondo…now it is waiting to be repaired and painted and the interior to be finished.
