Jon Campagna says: My 1966 Thunderbird was bought by it's original owner in 1966, new. He kept it pretty much garaged kept, and drove it minimally until his death in 1998. I have verified the mileage since there is an oil change sticker in the window from 1996 which says the next scheduled oil change was due at 60,000 miles. After his death in 1998, his son inherited the estate, and the car sat, unkempt for 10 years until a friend of mine purchased it from him for $500, not running. My friend then proceeded to take the car to a mechanic friend, and he got it running and driving again. I picked the car up for $2500 from them, and I'm basically just cleaning the thing up and enjoying it.
