Jisarc says: I found this 1966 Thunderbird Hardtop in 1982 abandoned behind a trailer. There were bushes and trees grown up around it. All the wheels were gone, sitting on the ground. Finally I was able to track down the owner by phone. I told him I would like to buy the car and restore it. An hour later he drove up with the title and key, signed the title and gave it to me!!! This picture is from 1984 after an engine, trans, and rear end rebuild with a fresh paint job. I am now in the process of a total restoration of my '66.
