Christopher Schweinbenz says: I only know the history of my 1966 Thunderbird Hardtop from 1999. The car was purchased in California in 1999 by a Ford executive in Detroit. The Ford executive was to ship the car to his father in Germany. For whatever reason, the plans fell thru. The car was then sold in 1999 to a gentleman in Tilsonburg, Ontario, Canada. I then purchased the car September, 2004. The car is in original condition -no power or convenience options - but it does have air conditioning. The car is now with me in Hamilton, Ontario,Canada. The car has just over 121,000 miles. And it would appear that it was well taken care of while living in California for it s first 33 years of life. I am looking forward to along life with my T-bird. - - - - - - - - - UPDATE March 2017, Don notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. The car was then sold in 1999 to a gentleman in Tilsonburg,Ontario,Canada.It was then purchased in Sept.2004 by Christopher Schweinbenz of Hamilton,Ontario until I purchased it in Oct.2009 until present.The car is original condition,no power or convenience options but it does have air conditioning.The motor,390 ci was rebuilt and has approx.2000 miles on it.This car has been kept inside.The car is with me her on P.E.I. Canada.This is a nice car and gets lots of looks when out and about. (picture updated)
