This is a 1966 Thunderbird Convertible. It has Highway Pilot Speed Control with Unique Steering Wheel, SelectAire Conditioner, power windows, power seat, Safety Convenience Control Panel, and tinted glass. As of February, 2003 it was in the Kittitas Valley in Washington. UPDATE October 2012, James Lohr notified the Registry that on 8/17/2012 he purchased this Thunderbird from Joe Zentgraff who acquired it in Washington in 2003 and fully restored it over the ensuing 9 years. It is a very heavily optioned vehicle and everything works.
There is no information regarding ownership prior to 2000. If anyone knows anything, it would be interesting to get a more complete picture. The gate release/factory invoice indicates it was delivered to Ralph Williams Ford, Encino, California, and invoiced on 11/29/65. (picture updated)
