This is a 1966 Thunderbird Convertible in Raven Black. It has a black interior. According to the book "Thunderbird!" by Ray Miller, this car was owned by Mr. Ted Otcasek of Fullerton, California in 1973. At that time, this Thunderbird's California license plates were "LAST 66" although it was not the actual last convertible made. This Thunderbird was scheduled for production on November 23, 1965. The present status of RN 701 is unknown. UPDATE October 2016, Cody Burch reports it has suffered an engine fire and is in a salvage yard in California. It appears to be in good condition.
