John says: My 1966 Thunderbirdconvertible has a 390 V8 engine, air conditioning, power driver seat, windows, antennae, locks, steering, and brakes. It also has tinted windows and fender skirts.
Exterior is Wimbledon White, interior is Aqua vinyl, and the convertible top is white.<p> It was restored by Bob Cook of Hazel, KY in 1991 for his daughter. Bob was well known coast to coast for his superior knowledge in T-Bird parts and restoration, and operated Bob Cook Classic Auto Parts, Inc. in Murray, KY. Restoration involved minor body work to eliminate dings, fresh correct paint job, and a new convertible top. The interior is in very good original condition showing little wear.<p> The car was purchased by Monte Wilson of Murray KY in October 1996, with only 41,000 miles on the odometer and was stored in an attached garage with cover. <p> I purchased the Bird from Monte in September 1999 and drove it from Murray, KY to my home in Jacksonville, FL. I've enjoyed her for 10 years now. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who may have additional information on this gem.
