Walter Warpeha says: My 1966 Thunderbird Convertible is Nightmist Blue with a blue top and blue interior. It was made Oct 1, 1965. As a early '66 it had the Criuse-O-Matic transmission but not so early to have the '65 style trunk mat.This was a doctors car bought at Major Motors, Minneapolis.I believe I am the fourth owner having bought it in 1982. This car has blue vinyl interior, right hand outside mirror, power drivers seat, electric antenna, power locks, red band tires, deluxe spinner wheelcovers, fender skirts, and a repro roadster toneau.The ROT verifies it had a blue convertible top from the factory. It currently has 94,000 miles.
