Peter Chubinsky says: I purchased my 1966 Thunderbird Convertible at an auction at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, Massachussetts in May 2006. There is an an Auto Museum at Larz Anderson. The seller and restorer was R. Esposito. It was a marooon (red) color with matching leather seats. engine had been refreshed, exhaust redone, new convertible. It looks great and runs well. I had a blast driving to see friends and crusing with our families in Connecticut two weeks ago. But some electrical and carburetor problems have me spending time and money on this like a young man in love.
My son age 14 is the real car maven and has not been disappointed. My wife is furious and would probably leave me, except now she likes the ride herself so much that she may stay to avoid a custody battle (over the car!). My son has the best pictures, but we just drove him to camp. I had to promise to bring the TBird in 4 weeks for visiting day. UPDATE, As of July, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Brookline, Massachusetts. (pictureadded)
