Jason Schug says: This was a 1966 "Q" code 428 Landau, I bought in Indiana off from e-bay about 10 years ago. The engine had been replaced by a Mercury 410 at some point. The floors were rotted out, the rear quarters were rusted up to the half way point. The dash was cracked in many places, and the rest of the interior was in bad shape. The engine turned over, and for fun I spend a couple hours trying to get it started, but it would not run. - - - - -The car no longer exists, but donated many parts to the restoration of Registry Number 1245. I salvaged as much of it as I could, some of the parts I sold, others I still have, perhaps the only useable part that went to the scrap yard was the trunk lid which I deemed not worth a pitched battle with the hornets who had made a home in there. - - -Registry #1245 will emerge from resto-mod with a factory-like fitted 428 engine, C6 transmission, vacuum power locks, power passenger seat, and factory air conditioning made possible by carefully collecting all the proper parts (linkages, brackets, etc.) from this car.
