Ken Vance says: My 1966 Thunderbird Town Landau was purchased new at Elgin Ford in Toronto, Ontario in December of 1965. It is equpped with the standard 390 cubic inch V-8 engine and C6 automatic transmission. It is Ivy Green Metallic ® with a black vinyl roof. The interior is white vinyl with Ivy Gold accents that includes passenger recliner and head rest (P8). It has power windows and vent windows, AM radio, and standard wheel covers. I purchased it in 2001 from Dr. Jeffrey Mizbah who was the original owner. In 1991 the rusted rear quarters were repaired and the car was repainted in its original colour. It is a terrific driver. I have been slowly upgrading/replacing/repairing the car. My intention is to keep it as an excellent driver-quality car.
