This car was purchased from the original owner and scrapped by yours truly. It had been sitting in his barn for a number of years and as he had sold the farm and had to move the bird. The barn was a "hillside barn" and as he attempted to move the car, when turning it towards the door, the brakes were not there, and the bird took an exit out the opposite door and down about 15 feet. It then caught fire in the engine bay. He had to climb out, run around the barn for an extinguisher to put out the fire. This man was in his 80's. The rear end was wrapped around the rear windshield. Don't laugh.Color 2 is dark turquoise metallic with a code 53, burgundy interior. It was purchased new from "Wood-Larkin Ltd. Ford Dealer in Toronto, Ontario. The DSO is B1 (Ford Canada 'Central') Note: this was first year (1966) when Ford of Canada started using B1-2-3-4-6-7 as oposed to DSO 81.
