As of June, 2005 it was for sale on ebay and located in Hobart, Indiana. This Thunderbird was sold new by Ed Martin Ford, 770 North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. The original owner's name was Gene Anderson of Indianapolis. On January 29, 1968 this Thunderbird was sold to Anthony H. Fisse of 1226 North Grant Avenue, Indianapolis. The dealer name was Dellen Oldsmobile of 5199 North Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis and the salesman's name was Dick McQueen. The price including undercoat was $3,645; a 1964 Thunderbird Landau was traded in and $1,495 was allowed on that car for a difference of $2,150 plus tax and license. That Thunderbird is 4Y87Z141477 and is Registry Number 34563. Dellen Oldsmobile accepted the 1964 Thunderbird trade-in plus $1207.50 cash at the time of delivery with a cash balance of $1000 due 30 days later. According to service records, it remained with the Fisse family in Indianapolis area for the next 34 years. In 1990 it had 56063 miles and was apparently retired from daily duty. On October 29, 2005 Craig Sottile purchased it from David Bailey of Lake Villa, Illinois, and brought it to its current home of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
