It was scheduled for production on June 28, 1967 (28F) and ordered through the Cleveland, Ohio District Sales Office (32). It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (1) and C6 automatic transmission (U). This Thunderbird was actually produced on June 27, 1967. It was ordered by dealership number 32A026: Burkett L. Williams (a now-defunct Ford dealer in Cleveland, Ohio). It was sold by Bob Gillingham Ford, Inc., 12100 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111 (dealership number 42A023). As of July, 2003, Bob Gillingham Ford is still in business and located in Parma, Ohio. The original owner was John J. Popelka, 3009 George Avenue, Parma, Ohio 44134, who purchased it on August 31, 1967. The only optional equipment items on this Thunderbird were power windows and 8.15x15 4-ply rated white sidewall Rayon tires. The status of RN 9703 is unknown. The information here was obtained from its owner's manual that was seen at the Ford & Mercury Restorer's Club in Belleville, Michigan on July 19, 2003.
