Alec Rehms says: I purchased this 1967 Thunderbird 4-door Landau in July of 2001, in Denver for a steal ($1100). It only needed a new top, new paint, a little fender work and a new bumper to make this beauty a real dream. The previous owner had rearended someone and wrinkled the drivers side fender and bumper. I feel sorry for whoever he hit! The motor had been rebuilt and the car was sound. So sound that it recently made a remarkable journey from Texas to Washington State via Route 66 (2700 miles), without a problem! After the purchase, I had it repainted Diplomat Blue which goes perfect with the black landau top and interior. The interior was flawless when purchased. Often, people will ask who did the custom suicide doors. I just tell them Henry Ford!
