This 429-equipped Thunderbird with a total of 6 options was sold new in 1968 from the Studio City Ford dealership formerly located on the 11000 block of Ventura Blvd in Los Angeles, California. The car was purchased in December, 1980 for $1000 in Coachella, California when my mom became the 3rd legal owner of the vehicle , as I became the 4th legal owner of the vehicle in August, 1987. Vehicle has not been driven since 1986 - due to a defective carburetor that mom could not afford to replace at the time - stored for safekeeping in the southern California area….. This is the vehicle that I drove for my driver's exam test and became a licensed driver in 1981.
