This is an interesting find. The driveline from this 1968 Thunderbird Landau is now being used in a drag racing 1983 Thunderbird. The state of Tennessee required the car to carry the VIN from the '68 since that is the motor in the car. The VIN for the 1983 Thunderbird body is unknown. As of July, 2005 it was for sale on ebay and located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
