As originally registered by Paul Kantor on 06/03/04: Paul Kantor says: This is a 1968 Thunderbird 2-door Landau. It is Alaska Blue (V) with a white vinyl roof. It has a Parchment vinyl bench seat interior (4UB). It was scheduled for production on June 3, 1968 (03F). This car was a Pre-approved Domestic Special Order as evidenced by the 6-digit DSO code of 470257. It was order number 0257 originating from the Cincinnati, Ohio District Sales Office (47). It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (5) and C6 automatic transmission (U). It has SelectAire Conditioner, tinted glass, Tilt-Away Steering Wheel, power windows, and 8-track stereo tape system. As of June, 2003 it was in Milford, Ohio with 37,800 miles on the odometer and in the possession of the original owner. Phil Skinner reports that this Thunderbird was at the Kruse auction in Auburn, Indiana in September, 2003.
