Kerry Doucette says: I saw this beautiful white 4-door Thunderbird on eBay in September. However, I was outbid at the last minute but decided to contact the seller anyway, as the reserve hadn't been met. He told me what it was, and it was a bit over what my maximum was. Nevertheless, I pondered it and called him back and offered it and he accepted. I was just making arrangements to send him a deposit the next day when he emailed me to apologize but since the auction ended, he was offered a couple of thousand more than I offered by several people and, being a businessman, needed to go with the highest bidder. I was disappointed but understood, but said to keep me in mind should it not work out (never really expecting a call). Three or four weeks went by and all of a sudden, who should email me but the seller. It seems the people that were so adamant to outbid me wanted him to hold onto the car for 4 months as well as have him finance it for them. Well, since I told him I had cash in hand, he said it was a done deal. I couriered the deposit and then the remainder, and just yesterday [November 11], it arrived at the Canadian border. It was just as great condition as I hoped and runs like a dream. Just a good polishing and she'll be ready for the shows! <p>
