Jason Bromley notified the Registry in September, 2010 that he owns this Thunderbird. Jason says this: Jason says: My 1968 BIG Fordor Landau was imported into Australia and converted to right-hand drive in 1968. It was fully restored some 12 years later (or we should say it was resurrected from a wreckers yard). The interior is luxurious and comfortable in black leather upholstery. The driver has a six-way electric seat and a tilt-away steering wheel. And, SelectAire Air Conditioner with Automatic Climate Control makes for first class comfort travelling. The power-plant is 429 cubic inch ThunderJet 4V driving through a C6 Cruise-O-Matic Transmission. Also installed is a Highway Pilot Control (cruise control). Other features include an AM Radio with 8-track Stereo Tape System, power windows and vacuum door locks. Headlamps are protected by doors that open automatically when the lights are switched on. The rear-end design shows the unique development of full width tail-light illumination that incorporates sequential flashing turn indicator lights. This Thunderbird model is truly a one of the greatest touring cars ever made, and economical as well, cruising at around 19mpg AU.
================ This Thunderbird was seen in Brisbane, Australia in October, 2001. At that time it was owned by Russell Wood.
