Thomas Brown says:I just purchased my 1972 Thunderbird on eBay (11/08/05). I have no other history of the car. I am starting the restoration. It is dark brown metallic with a white vinyl roof, and a white leather split bench seat interior. It is equipped with SelectAire Conditioner, power windows, 6-way power driver and passenger seats, power lock group, and tinted glass. February, 2006 update: I have had the car buffed out, the pain is in good conditon with no rust and only a couplle of very small dead spots, the bumpers are also in good condition with no rust. I have had the straight steering column replaced with a tilt steering column, and had the after market radio that was in the car replaced with an updated replica of the orginal AM radio that is now an AM/FM stero radio with a 10 CD changer in the trunk. The orginal shocks were replaced with new heavy duty shocks, the exhaust system replaced, all power windows now work, and the gas gauge now works. I intend to replace the compress in the air conditioner and will have it charged and working soon.
