Comments John Goulet says: My 1958 Thunderbird is a white hardtop, red & white interior. Automatic transmission, only option is one power seat. Purchased it from a dealer in PA in May of 2003. Car has 54,000 original miles and, better yet, shows no signs at all of tinkering, modification or other such changes. Appears to be on its second set of tires. Has had one paint job and new seat covers. In need of a new dash pad and cover. I am currently working on lots of little electrical issues (burnt out bulbs, clock, horn contacts). The motor sounds and runs absolutely terrific!
Longer terms plans are to rechrome the bumpers, have 3 dings in paint taken care of, and restore the dash. In the meantime, we plan to begin driving it this weekend as it just got registered. I am located in Central MA near Mt Wachusett if there are other owners in that vicinity. UPDATE March 2013, John Goulet adds: I have owned it since 2003. The motor has been rebuilt, ignition upgraded, all chrome work redone and transmission rebuilt.

It provides some 2000 miles of highly enjoyable cruising each year, to the joy of its owner, Amanda (a Springer Spaniel with high car standards), as well as the many people who view, comment on, and photograph it.
