(former owner) Gary Burnsworth says: I purchased this 1965 Thunderbird Landau from the second owner on 9/9/99. It had not been started in ten years. It is 95% original with the original 390 V-8.
This Thunderbird has power windows and SelectAire Conditioner. It has been re-painted and fortunately it was painted the original color. The interior is very good - no splits or cracks in leather, dash or steering wheel. There are some small moth holes in the head liner, and all glass is original and excellent. The vinyl top is like new, it may not be original. My Thunderbird currently has 101,206 miles showing had 100,052 when I purchased it. UPDATE July 2017, Steve Waits notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: This Thunderbird is still running and goes to shows in the central Ohio area. The chrome is great. The paint is ok. the interior is still original. the car now has 103,000 miles on it. (picture added)
