Toby Ellis says: I recently purchased a beautiful 1958 Ford Thunderbird from a family in White Lake, Michigan - I know that the now deceased owner (surname Spoor) was a part of the Vintage Thunderbird Club International. It is painted a robin egg blue color, which I know isn't original. The car is running (idles well) and driving (barely) but needs a fair bit of work to get it back into shape (coolant in oil, (intake manifold, head?) gasket problems, power steering, detente plate fix, brake refresh). I am located in Milford, MI - hoping to find local guys near me who work on these beauties! I'm a young guy and this will be my first major project car, which I hope to work on (and love) for the rest of my life. I am hoping to have the car on the road by spring of 2025. Maybe I'm a bit of a romantic, lol!
