Bert supplied the factory build sheet for his 1962 Thunderbird Hardtop. It has a notation that it was to be built with a "Stationary Steering Column". The Swing-Away Steering Wheel was a standard feature, and this is the first Thunderbird known to have it be a standard item that was deleted.
