Ormand says: This 1962 M-Code two door hardtop is an exceptionally rare "survivor" Thunderbird. This car has all original equipment and only one owner. This T-bird was purchased by the late Aurelbelle Shaffer, who was the wife of deceased Raymond Shaffer, retired President of Greyhound Bus Line. Aurelbelle drove this car as her second car and always kept it parked under a carport in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1992, the car was placed in a storage facility in Arizona. It was kept there until I purchased the car from my brother in law, Dr. Calvin Shaffer (Raymond and Aurelbelle's son). In 2010, I had the car transported to Georgia where it remains today. It is being kept under cover has really helped to preserve the interior and exterior of the car. The car is in good condition and is road ready.
