My father was the original owner of this vehicle. Unfortunately, he is now in Memory Care and therefore, I have now taken ownership of the vehicle. It was originally bought in Santa Maria, Californiaa on 09/02/1964 by my father, Robert. I still have the original title. The car ended up in Arizona in March of 1969. With the Arizona heat,unfortunately, the car rotted in the garage until 1985 when I talked my father into restoring it. In 1990, we bought the tonneau over to make it look like a two seater. It came from a wrecked 1962 Sports Roadster. Obviously, we painted it the same color as the car. It has gone through a few mechanics since then. Some, who knew about T-Birds, and some that obviously did not. It is in what I would consider "FINE" condition. Meaning it runs and looks excellent from a far. Up close, you see some flaws (ie minor cracks in dash and seats). My plans are to replace some parts with OEM parts as much as possible and bring this car back to its original glory as much as possible. The only major thing that needs to be done is to replace the dash and clean up all the instrument panels. The rear deck could also use some sanding and painting. - - - - - - - - - - UPDATE August 2023 it is for sale in Sioux City, Iowa.
