ALERT: VIN discrepancy likely. (November 2004:) This is a 1964 Thunderbird Convertible. It is Cascade Green (S) with a white viny interior (53). It was scheduled for production on April 15, 1964 (15D) and ordered through the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania District Sales Office (23). Reportedly, this Thunderbird was scrapped for parts by Bob's Bird House in Chadd's Ford, Pennsylvania. A new data plate was requested by someone in Illinois in 2004. - - - - - - - UPDATE May 2021, the car in the picture has a reproduction data plate with the VIN shown here. The date code on that plate is incorrect being out-of-sync with the known correct VINs. The repro plate says the color is "Q" and the date is "30C". The car was for sale at Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois.
