Sigurjón Hjaltason says: I ought my Thunderbird in Florida .....year 2000. It was in fair state. but chrome was all pitted, some rust in trunk and below the rear window. Paint was rubish and cloth interior was also ruined. Engine was not in good state but running. Since then it has undergone a major overhaul from front to back. Extensive work on all mechanicals + interior and complete paint job with rechrome. Looks and drives like new. It is my sunday and special events driver and I enjoy it very much.
Here in Iceland we do have some 17 Tbirds .........from 1956 model to 1969. When I bought the car it was light blue and registered on this Florida tag : 1-183663 ( Does anyone know the history or previous owners ? ) - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[This Thunderbird resides in Iceland.]
