SV Gal says: I bought this little red 'Bird in 1960 - -it was my daily driver for 5 years, until I bought a new Mustang in 1965. This "Bird lived with me in NC for a couple of years. She has been 2 other colors other than red. It is equipped with engine dress-up kit, power steering, power brakes, and power windows. It came with Fordomatic but has had a 3 speed since 1962. My husband and I found a soft top at a local swap meet so now she has 2 tops. I have not driven her in over 20 years but recently I have started dismantling her for restoration. Hopefully, she will be back on the road next year - - can't wait!! It will be 57 years of ownership in September 2017. I doubt there are very many others who can make that claim!! I am a member of CTCI.
