This is a 1963 Thunderbird Hardtop in Rangoon Red (J). The original black vinyl interior (56) has been modernized to be black vinyl bolsters with dark red pleated cloth inserts. This Thunderbird was scheduled to be built on August 27, 1962 (27H). It has a 3.00:1 rear axle ratio (1) and Cruise-O-Matic transmission (4). Originally, this Thunderbird had a 390 cubic inch, 3 - 2V, M-code engine. That original engine has been modified to now have a 4V carburetor. It has tinted glass, fender shields, power windows, and SelectAire Conditioner. It was known to be in Mobile, Alabama as of October, 2002. UPDATE March 2020, new information is that it was advertised for sale in Miami, Florida on October 29 and November 19, 1978.
