Scott Bamford says: I am the second owner of this rust free 1966 Town Hardtop from Reno, Nevada. It is Brittany Blue with Blue Vinyl interior (reclining passenger seat and head rest). The car has all factory options except for Highway Pilot. It is a very early 1966 model (#746) with a production date of August 5, 1965 (first day was August 2, 1965). We have owned this Thunderbird since January 1999 and shipped to us in Gurnee, Illinois. The first (and only) 8-track tape that we have ever had in the car was ironically "The Sound of Music" - just like in the showroom brochure. We brought it to Bethel, CT then to Midlothian, Virginia and is currently with us in Palm Coast, FL. We have restored the vinyl dash pad and the factory A/C system. Next will be to go through the front suspension and shock absorbers all around. (UPDATED 2/2023)
