Ronn Rossi says: My 1976 Thunderbird was purchased 4 years ago with only 35,000 miles on the odometer. It was purchased by the original owner in 1975 and driven for 5 years when the gas shortage (odd/even - do you remember?) hit… 7 miles per gallon wasn't sufficient despite the luxury of this DeLorean living room on wheels. It was garaged and he bought something more economical. Twenty years later she was found sitting there waiting for me to come along and pump new life into her. I must admit I am grateful for the chance, by doing so I was introduced to other Thunderbird lovers. This car has taken many trophies and can be seen in the opening scenes of the movie "Wannabees". This was my third Thunderbird (other two were 1979 and 1990). I also have a
1966 Thunderbird Town Landau and have hopes of adding a 1965 Thunderbird Convertible in the future. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current in Kings County.
