This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is Raven Black (A) with a black and white interior (XA). It was scheduled for production on September 9, 1954 (9J). This Thunderbird was documented in Early Bird Magazine (November-December 1985) when it was offered for sale for $31,500. The seller stated that it had all options, both hard and soft tops and was in perfect running condition. It came from the Greenfield Village museum with less than 20,000 miles on the odometer and had been documented by Ford Motor Company officials from 1955 up to when the magazine was published. It was in the Detroit, Michigan area. This Thunderbird was part of the invited display cars at the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals in June, 2005. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current, county of Richmond.
