This is a 1955 Thunderbird. It is Thunderbird Blue (T) with a turquoise and white interior (C). It was scheduled for production on September 21, 1954 (21J). According to the July/August 1974 edition of Early Bird Magazine, this Thunderbird was owned by J. H. Ternas of Astoria, New York. As of March, 2003 its status was unknown. UPDATE May 2013, Dennis Dole reports it was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Englewood, CO. It is now white with a black soft top (non-original, not pictured) and a black/white interior. It is equipped with a Fordomatic transmission, full power options, engine dress up kit, and wire wheels. (picture added) UPDATE May 2014, F. Houts notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says he has a letter from Tom McIntyre indicating it was the 10th Thunderbird produced.
